Anika is thrilled to be a guest at the Four Winds School in Gill, MA. She will co-creating experiences for the young people regarding the history of American Indian and African American slavery in the U.S. with a particular emphasis on Western MA, especially as it relates to her own lineage story. The learning community will be involved in role play, movement, research, historical mathematics, film, emotional intelligence, partnering, small group work, and an opportunity to witness a related performance from her National Liberation Poetry Tour Experience. Before the day is through, they will also spend time creating individual and joint responses to the day’s events. It’s going to be a real talk, heartfelt, creative day!
